Knucklepuck is searching for an ambitious, innovative individual to join our rapidly growing team of digital-first marketers as a full-time Marketing and Sales Administrator. The selected candidate will be expected to contribute immediately in a collaborative environment that rewards results.

About the Position

We are seeking an ambitious self-starter who is passionate about networking, brand management, marketing and business development to serve as Knucklepuck’s internal Marketing and Sales Administrator. This position will focus exclusively on Knucklepuck’s own marketing and business development efforts.

The Marketing and Sales Administrator will work under the direction of the Business Operations Manager to manage the full sales cycle from executing marketing campaigns, phone screening prospects, scheduling follow up communication, draft proposals through to contract signing. The team member in this position will contribute to Knucklepuck brand development and awareness effort. The ideal candidate will have the ability work across departments leveraging the Knucklepuck team with expertise in SEO, paid media, content development and business development to expand the Knucklepuck customer base and elevate brand through awareness campaigns. The Marketing and Sales Administrator must be able to take direction and cultivate strong professional relationships both externally and internally.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Prospect management
    • Phone screen prospects
      • Report outcome
    • Schedule subsequent and ongoing communication
    • Prospect follow up coordination
    • Document calls and meetings throughout sales cycle
  • Maintain, document and track full sales cycle within Salesforce
    • Pipeline reporting
    • Manage Salesforce leads, opportunities, accounts and contacts
  • Proposal authoring
    • Lead and project manage refinement and maintain proposal template content
      • Lead proposal content development through collaboration with subject matter experts, content writers, business development team and senior leadership.
    • Draft proposals to reflect prospect business goals, project scope and budget.
      • Coordinate writing of client specific proposal personalization through collaboration with team
        • Draft objective/overview
        • Solicit and integrate into the document, team member subject matter expert input
        • Assist in developing pricing
    • Deliver proposals to the client within committed timeline
      • Schedule and follow up - post delivery
  • Brand management
    • Project manage branding exercise
    • Lead development of a brand style guide
  • Lead and project manage the development and execution of a social strategy
    • Lead refinement of social profile messaging
    • Lead the development and manage blogging and post schedule
  • Project manage digital marketing strategy leveraging the internal team
    • SEO
    • Paid Media
    • Marketing content development
    • Project manage website maintenance and updates
    • Develop and execute marketing drip campaigns
  • Networking
    • Represent Knucklepuck at Meetups and networking events
    • Promote Knucklepuck hosted meetup events
    • Develop, maintain and grow speaker network for Knucklepuck events
  • Send thank you notes - in support of partnering, business development and brand awareness
  • Lead outreach effort
    • Arrange to contribute to and solicit guest blog posts
    • Arrange to contribute to and solicit guest podcast interview opportunities
  • Assist with the management of partnership relationships
  • Project manage and submit contest applications

It would be great if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications
  • Experience interviewing prospects
  • Working knowledge of WordPress
  • Working knowledge of SEO, Paid Media and writing for digital audiences
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Sales prospecting experience
  • Salesforce experience
  • Graphic design experience
  • Business Analysis experience
